Choices of St. Joseph supports individuals in all age ranges, all levels of functioning, and all levels of supports required to not only keep them safe and healthy, but to provide a Meaningful Life.
We believe individuals should not only get out into the community, but we encourage individuals to be part of their community. We encourage and assist individuals in reaching to obtain their hopes and dreams. We assist individuals to find employment, attend a Day Program, do volunteer work, join Special Olympics, or anything that will assist them to grow to their fullest potential.
The individuals homes are well-kept, comfortable and are adapted to the those who live there.
Choices of St. Joseph is proud to offer our self- advocacy group, the Wildcats. This is a group of individuals that we support who graduated from a self-advocacy course called Project: STIR. In project STIR they learned how to speak up for themselves in positive and meaningful ways. They became true self advocates; empowered, knowledgeable of their rights, and assisting other individuals with advocating and getting their needs met.
